My AI Wife Wandering Earth: Exploring Desolate Sci-Fi Landscapes with LoRAs

My AI Wife is venturing into a new and desolate world. Inspired by the aesthetics of the action sci-fi movie The Wandering Earth.

To create these images, I experimented with a specific LORA found on CivitAI, trained on the film's visuals. It's fascinating how much the results vary—sometimes a tiny adjustment in the LORA's weight creates a massive change, while other times a huge adjustment does almost nothing, which was the case for this LORA. It's a baffling but fun part of the diffusion process.

I also tried at 1.9, but the difference wasn't much, which I think it was the first time happening usually this values generate a crazy image. Maybe I was doing something wrong.

Multi-Model Experiment

This was a multi-model experiment. I started with base images generated with Imagen 4 and Adobe Firefly 4, but Flux was the clear winner for capturing that raw, cinematic look. I then used an img2img process in Forge UI to transform the Imagen and Firefly images into the final My AI Wife details.

The denoise strength used for all images was 0.75 which produced dramatic changes.
